The Dance programme of the Department of Performing Arts at the Tshwane University of Technology’s Faculty of Arts and Design is proud to present several productions and exhibitions that will showcase the versatility and quality of its current generation of dancers, choreographers and educators during the TUT Arts Festival. The festival will be hosted on the Arts Campus from 26 to 28 September and demonstrates how the University makes knowledge work and prepare graduates to be future ready.
Audiences can enjoy a jam-packed programme of performances ranging in techniques and styles, from classical and popular South African dances to contemporary jazz and more.
The Dance programme promises to entertain and enthral while addressing various current issues through artistic activism – ‘artivism’.
Back by popular demand, the daily dance master classes will be hosted by industry specialists, with limited space per session.
