If we told you that you could make it rain using only your body, would you believe it?

That's what we told changemakers participating at three international social change conferences on three continents. Last month, at the Global Artivism Conference 2024 in South Africa, the Ashoka Changemakers Summit in Germany and ITAC7 in New Zealand, we arranged for changemakers to become rainmakers...all on the same day! It was a demonstration of the power of simplicity, collective action and imagination...and what nature has to teach us about our interconnectedness.

CAN's Science and Technology Advisor, Pal Honti, worked with the teams to create and coordinate a simple artistic exercise...that connected these gatherings across oceans, in ways they couldn't have imagined!

Now the magic revealed...watch how they made it RAIN!

If you want to conduct this powerful exercise at your gatherings and events too, search for toolkit on CAN's Tools section on the website.
