Prof Karendra Devroop - Les nuits Pianistiques Music Festival

Prof Karendra Devroop, Professor of Music in the Department of Performing Arts, Faculty of Arts and Design, and an acclaimed jazz saxophonist, will perform two concerts at the Les nuits Pianistiques Music Festival in Aix-en-Provence, France, on Saturday, 23 August 2025.

Les nuits Pianistiques is one of the most prestigious music festivals in the South of France, established 33 years ago by the internationally acclaimed classical pianist, Michel Bourdoncle.

Prof Devroop will perform a series of works for saxophone and piano by composers such as John Williams, Astor Piazzolla and Pedro Iturralde.

He will be accompanied by the French pianists Michel Bourdoncle and Phillipe Gueit at the Darius Milhaud Conservatoire of Music.
