Past, Present, Future brings together works by three generations of glass artists, from pioneering studio glass pioneer David Reade to the work of practising artists and lecturers, and student pieces being shown publicly for the first time. The exhibition features around 25 pieces by renowned South African and international glass artists, as well as a collective display of Graal pieces created during the biennale, two TUT student collaborations (including an international project with De Montfort University in the UK) and a curated showcase of glass jewellery. There will be live hot-glass demonstrations throughout the opening, with several of the international guest artists working at the furnace.
We hope to see you there!
